Julie, R.N. Care Manager

I have been at Baywood for 6 years. I have worked in home care and Geriatric Case Management for most of my 20+ years of nursing. I was previously employed by the University of Minnesota Physicians as a supervisor overseeing nurses and social workers in developing a program to keep people in their homes, reducing Nursing Home admissions. This was a very rewarding experience but I wanted to return to face to face nursing with contact with clients, since this is where my passion lies. I am kept very active with my two children, both of whom are very active in sports, such as hockey and baseball. When I do get time for myself I enjoy being creative and have a hobby of throwing pottery.

Lonnie, R.N. Care Manager

My first R.N. position was working as a nurse manager at a nursing home. Then I worked for 10 years for Fairview Home Care and Hospice as a case manager, and after that with the U of M Physicians as a Managed Care Coordinator, working with elderly clients in their homes. I have been with Baywood for 6 years. I thoroughly enjoy the privilege of enabling clients to stay in their homes , where they flourish. On a personal note, I enjoy vacations on the beach,  boating, working in my flower garden, watching my three boys grow up, planting flowers with my daughter-in-law, visiting neighbors, and visiting my son in Colorado. I live in Maple Grove with my youngest son, two dogs and a silly cat.

Bridget, R .N. Care Manager

I have been with Baywood for 3 years. I have hospital experience both in post-surgery and Geriatric Psychology. I was for several years a Home Care R.N. at Equity services, a home care nonprofit. I also spent 10 years immediately before joining Baywood at the University of Minnesota Physicians as a Managed Care Coordinator for seniors in their homes.

I am married and live in Woodbury. Much of my spare time is spent with family and friends enjoying life. I enjoy treasure hunting with my mom and finding old furniture that can be repurposed, watching my dad continue to achieve his 300 bowling scores, gardening, golfing, and watching my youngest son play hockey and lacrosse.

Larry, L.P.N., Home Care Nurse

My L.P.N. experience includes home health, assisted living, long-term care, and transitional care. I have a B.A. in Business from Concordia University and was a property manager for seven senior housing facilities before becoming a nurse. So in a way, I have been taking care of seniors a long time!

In addition to assisting the R.N. Care Managers with client care, my responsibility at Baywood includes overseeing and managing compliance with the MN Dept. of Health regulations.

All of my experience with the very broad spectrum of quality in senior care makes me really appreciate working at Baywood, where we are encouraged and supported to provide the best possible care. When not working I enjoy spending time with my wife and family in our home in Plymouth, where we have a large yard that also consumes much of my time.

Lisa, L.P.N., Home Care Nurse

I have been a nurse for over 20 years. Before joining Baywood, I was a home care nurse at Kindred At Home, a Medicare home care provider, for 7 years. Before that, I was a nurse at the North Memorial Cancer Center and at the Midwest Spine Institute. I also was a nurse at HCR Manor Care (formerly Heartland Home Care). My experience includes direct patient care, as well as patient/client education, medication management, and health monitoring.

I am married and live in the north metro. I enjoy the arts, photography, music, being outdoors, enjoying the lake, motorcycle riding, bowling, concerts, and getting together with family and friends.

Jackie, R.N. Care Manager

I have been an R.N. for over 30 years. I began my nursing career volunteering as a Candy Striper while in high school. After high school, I worked as a nursing assistant in a nursing home before going to nursing school. I was an L.P.N. for over 3 years before returning to school to get my R.N. degree. My past experience includes working in a hospital, home care, long-term care in a skilled nursing facility and assisted living. My husband Bruce and I have been married for over 35 years. We are crop farmers. We have 3 daughters, of whom we are very proud. They are now all R.N.’s. We have 4 granddaughters and one grandson. I enjoy helping on the farm, gardening, cooking and spending time with my family. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to work for Baywood and be a part of this great team. It is wonderful to see such high quality care that enables clients to remain in their own homes.

Jennifer, R.N. Care Manager

Before joining Baywood, I was a Case Manager at United Hospital District Home Health and Hospice in Blue Earth. Before that I was an R.N. at the Mayo Clinic Health System hospital in Fairmont in the Med Surgical and Obstetrical Units.

My experience in Long Term Care started with my six years as a nursing assistant at Lakeview Methodist Heath Care Center in Fairmont.

I am very happy to be working at Baywood, helping people to live at home, even if they have Long Term Care needs.

I live in the Fairmont area with my husband and three children. I try to balance work and family so I can both do my job well and also spend lots of quality time with my family.

Becky, R.N. Care Manager

I have been an R.N. for almost 25 years. My first R.N. position was at Lakeview Methodist in Fairmont, where I had also worked as a nursing assistant. I have over 20 years of hospital experience, mostly at Mayo Clinic Health System, where I have worked in various departments including: ICU, Med-Surgical, Cardiac Rehab, and Same-day Surgery. I also taught various classes to hospital employees. I am happy to be working at Baywood Home Care, and being able to use my hospital skill-set to help clients live at home. My husband and I farm near Fairmont, growing crops and finishing pigs. I love being a mom to our three children. I also enjoy scrapbooking, gardening and working on the farm. Fun fact: I am learning to play the violin.
