nurse care manager

Karen Freer, R.N. Care Manager

I have been an R.N. for over 25 years. Much of that time was spent in the hospital setting in both critical care and trauma units, in Minnesota and Arizona. For the seven years prior to joining Baywood Home Care, I served as a Case Manager and Admissions Clinician for a Medicare Certified agency. I find working for Baywood very rewarding. I enjoy being part of a team that prides itself on providing exceptional care that enables clients to remain living in their own homes. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my two granddaughters, and friends.

Julie Albrecht, R.N. Care Manager

I am thrilled to be a part of the Baywood Home Care Team. I have worked in home care and Geriatric Case Management for most of my 18 years of nursing. I was previously employed by the University of Minnesota Physicians as a supervisor overseeing nurses and social workers in developing a program to keep people in their home, preventing Nursing Home admissions. This was a very rewarding experience but I wanted to come back to face to face nursing with contact with clients as this is where my passion lies. I am kept very active with my two children, both of whom are very active in sports, with hockey as their passion. When I do get time for myself I enjoy being creative and have a hobby of throwing pottery.

Lonnie Stinson, R.N. Care Manager

My first R.N. position was working as a nurse manager at a nursing home. Then I worked for 10 years for Fairview Home Care and Hospice as a case manager, and after that with the U of M Physicians as a Managed Care Coordinator, working with elderly clients to keep them safe and in their homes. At Baywood Home Care I thoroughly enjoy the privilege of enabling clients to stay in their homes, where they flourish. On a personal note, I enjoy vacations on the beach, boating, working in my flower garden, watching my three boys grow up, planting flowers with my daughter-in-law, watching my youngest play basketball, visiting neighbors, and visiting my son in Colorado. I live in Maple Grove with my husband, 13 year old son, two dogs and a silly cat.

Bridget Siegfried, R .N. Care Manager

My nursing background before I joined Baywood was varied. I have hospital experience both in post-surgery and Geriatric Psychology. I was for several years a Home Care R.N. at Equity Services, a home care nonprofit. I also spent 10 years immediately before joining Baywood at the University of Minnesota Physicians as a Managed Care Coordinator for seniors in their homes.

I am married and live in St. Paul. Much of my spare time is spent with family and friends enjoying life. I enjoy treasure hunting with my mom and finding old furniture that can be repurposed, watching my dad continue to achieve his 300 bowling scores, gardening, golfing, and watching my youngest son play hockey and lacrosse.

Jackie Eisenmenger, R.N. Care Manager

I have been an R.N. for over 30 years. I began my nursing career volunteering as a Candy Striper while in high school. After high school, I worked as a nursing assistant in a nursing home before going to nursing school. I was an L.P.N. for over 3 years before returning to school to get my R.N. degree. My past experience includes working in a hospital, home care, long-term care in a skilled nursing facility and assisted living. My husband Bruce and I have been married for 33 years. We are crop farmers. We have 3 daughters, of whom we are very proud, they are now all R.N.’s. We have 3 granddaughters. I enjoy helping on the farm, gardening, cooking and spending time with my family. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to work for Baywood and be a part of this great team. It is wonderful to see such high quality care that enables clients to remain in their own homes.

Jennifer Harris, R.N. Care Manager

Before joining Baywood, I was a Case Manager at United Hospital District Home Health and Hospice in Blue Earth. Before that I was an R.N. at the Mayo Clinic Health System hospital in Fairmont in the Med Surgical and Obstetrical Units. My experience in Long Term Care started with my six years as a nursing assistant at Lakeview Methodist Heath Care Center in Fairmont. I am very happy to be working at Baywood, helping people to live at home, even if they have Long Term Care needs. I live in the Fairmont area with my husband and two children. I try to balance work and family so I can both do my job well and also spend lots of quality time with my family.
